Meta is shutting down Facebook Watch, ending all original programming.
Mina Lefevre, head of development and programming for the group, will leave Meta. She joined the company in 2017 after working as MTV’s head of scripted development.
Meta is cost-cutting by axing 10,000 jobs. The social media giant laid off 11,000 employees last year.
Shows that got the boot include Jada Pinkett’s “Red Table Talk,” Steve Harvey’s “Steve on Watch,” “Big Chicken Shaq,” Cardi B’s “Cardi Tries,” and Taraji P. Henson’s “Peace of Mind with Taraji.”
